Grilled Artichokes - Have you tried them?!
Although often considered a vegetable, artichokes are a type of thistle. Not only are artichokes loaded with nutrients, but they lower blood sugar levels and improve digestion, heart health, and liver health.
Trim sharp edges, boil for about 25 min.
Meanwhile, sauté garlic in some butter to brush on artichokes while finishing on the grill.
Then cut artichokes in half, scoop out middle, and grill (about 5 min a side) brushing with garlic butter sauce. Finish with sea salt. Serve with lemon. So good!
